Abstract:

This report was prepared by the US Army Materiel Command at the direction of the chief, research, development and acquisition, DA letter DAMA- AOA, dated 19 June 1974, Transfer of functions to the US Army Materiel Command. Each in-house RDT and E activity of the Department of Defense is described on one page in this compilation. The data for 1974 are summarized in tables preceding the main text. This edition is the nineth of a series that started in 1966. All information was submitted on key-punched card. All current DoD RDT and E activities are listed in the contents alphabetically within each department. Some new organizational names appear in this issue and others have been changed or deleted since last year.
