Abstract:

This manual was written to assist in the maintenance and management of the historic Old Hospital Complex 5EP1778 at Fort Carson, Colorado. The report outlines the character-defining features of the complex, defines management guidelines for the protection and maintenance, and general specifications for maintenance and repair. It includes a cyclic maintenance checklist, schedule, and record, as well as a list of the architectural drawings on file for the complex at Fort Carson. In addition it includes a copy of the Secretary of the Interiors Standards for Rehabilitation and Illustrated Guidelines for Rehabilitating Historic Buildings, and relevant Preservation Tech notes and Preservation Briefs.
