This conference presented current and future commercial and military uses and technology of Global Positioning Systems GPS and Differential Global Positioning Systems DGPS. Test results of new methods and equipment were detailed. A Russian system, Global Navigation Satellite System GLONASS, was discussed in several of the conference sessions.
