The purpose of this Embankment Criteria and Performance Report is to assemble information on the embankment conditions of the project. It provides a summary record of significant design data, design assumptions, design computations, specification requirements, construction equipment, construction procedures, construction experience, field control and record control test data and embankment performance as monitored by instrumentation during construction and during initial lake filling. This report is intended to provide in one volume the significant information needed by engineers to 1 familiarize themselves with the project, 2 re-evaluate the embankment in the event unsatisfactory performance occurs, and 3 provide guidance for designing comparable future projects.
