Abstract:

This publication is produced annually by the Department of Defense Office of the Actuary, located within the Defense Manpower Data Center. Most of the data is abstracted from files submitted under RCS MSA1375. The military retirement system as summarized applies to the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and Air Force. However, most of the provisions also apply to retirement systems for members of the Coast Guard Administered by the Department of Transportation officers of the Public Health Service administered by H.S.S., and officers of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Adminstration Administered by the Department of Commerce.
