Abstract:

Prompton Lake is located on the Luckawxen River within the limits of the Borough of Prompton in Wayne County, Pa. The purpose of this report is to present and briefly interpret the water quality data collected to date at Prompton Lake. The report characterizes the general drainage areas as to land use, potential pollution sources contributing to the Lake and the relationship between potential water quality problems that may occur and the possible effects of the Lake on the water quality.
