Abstract:

Progress on the selection of a Distributed Sensor Networks program application problem, discussion of system elements, formulation and testing of multisite detection and location algorithms, and review of the fundamentals of sensitivity analysis are reported. Design and execution of an acousticseismic field experiment, and analysis and evaluation of experimental data including preliminary determination of acoustic detection ranges, spectral signatures, and direction determination capabilities are also described.
