Abstract:

The calculation of a water-jet ejector consists basically of determining the necessary head of the operating water, both ahead and after the ejector, the water flow rate, the ejection factor, as well as all principal dimensions. The calculations are based on the law of conservation of momentum due to impact, jet continuity equations and velocityhead relationships for liquid discharge from the nozzles.
