Abstract:

The Transaction Processing Operating System TPOS is a specialized system designed to control a subset of the total computer environment, on the Honeywell H6000 architecture, of Transaction Processing Application Programs TPAPS. The TPOS system is designed to operate under Release 2H of the General Comprehensive Operating Supervisor GCOS, the General Remote Terminal Supervisor GRTS on the Network Processing Supervisor NPS and in conjunction with the Transaction Processing System TPS. This report includes the user, site and program logic documentation. In addition, this report indicates specific usage of a monitoring and a debugging capability provided within the TPOS environment.
