Abstract:

The dental service resources of the United States Army Reserve are examined in their concepts and the reality of their management, organization, utilization, and communications, as perceived by the writer. Data was gathered from a variety of sources and from personal experiences. This paper tries to give an overview of the USAR with specific emphasis on its Dental Corps aspects and attempts to examine what is believed to be two major problem areas command and control, and unit structure.
