Advanced Photonics: Science, Technology and Applications

Progress over the five year period of this contract has been reported in five previous annual reports. The topics covered in those reports are listed at the on page 2. The body of this report on pages 3-26 summarizes progress during the six month no-cost extension period 1012017-3292018. Topics include sub-cycle control of soft X-ray HHG yield using two-color f 3f driver pulses, advances in nanostructured lightwave electronic devices, development of two-photon imaging technology for surgical imaging and optical biopsy, and nonlinear microscopy NLM for histological evaluation. The 120 publications produced under this contract over the period 2013-2018 are listed at the end on pages 27-36.
