Spectroscopic Properties of Fluorocarbons and Fluorinated Hydrocarbons

Abstract:

Infrared spectra of 40 fluorinated compounds and Raman spectra of 25 of these compounds are presented. Completed or nearly complete vibrational assignments are proposed for CH2=CF2, CF2=CF2, CF2=CC12, CF2=CFC1, CH3-CC13, CF2=CF-CF3 and cyclic C4F8. A partial assignment of fundamental frequencies for nine fluorinated aromatic hydrocarbons is also proposed.
