Abstract:

While there are legitimate grievances against the Federal Government of Pakistan, the violence perpetrated by Baloch separatists is not a popularly supported movement but a foreign funded attempt by a few Sardars (tribal leaders) to maintain relevance and personally benefit from their position of power.
