Building Military Coalitions: Lessons from U.S. Experience
Abstract:
This report documents research and analysis conducted as part of a project entitled Coalition Interventions: Learning from the U.S. Experience, sponsored by the Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, G-3/5/7, U.S. Army. The purpose of the project was to identify insights from the historical U.S. experience with coalition interventions to inform U.S. operations and future planning, including potential signposts of the likelihood of allied or partner support and implications for the likelihood of achieving U.S. objectives.
