Federal Virtual Training Environment (FedVTE): A Decade of Continued Cost-Saving Benefits

Abstract:

The Federal Virtual Training Environment (FedVTE) is an online, ondemand training system containing cybersecurity and certification prep courses, at no cost to federal, state, and local government employees. The goal of FedVTE is to help support the need to cultivate a skilled cyber workforce that is prepared to protect and defend in cyberspace. While the platform has gone through several evolutions and transitions, a virtual training platform has been available to the federal cyber workforce for over ten years.
