Non Benzodiazepines Hypnotics: Another Way to Induce Sleep

Abstract:

Technological advances have improved the ability of military Air Force crews to withstand the operational demands of increased workload in a hostile environment. It is evident that 3rd generation hypnotics zolpiden and zopiclone do have some advantages over the older bezodiazepines, primarily because they do not significantly influence higher cognitive functions the day after the administration.
