Abstract:

On 21 May 1982, President Reagan signed Public Law 97-177, the Prompt Payment Act, which has an objective of timely contract payment. Since the Act was implemented nearly one year ago, the question is Does the Prompt Payment Act Insure Timely Contract Payment This report addresses this question.
