Abstract:

This invention concerns methods and apparatuses for measuring angles and changes in angles by projecting light beams onto mirrors and measuring the angle between the incident and reflected beams. More particularly, it concerns a method for determining the amount, if any, by which a projected beam varies from true horizontal, that is, from perpendicularity to the gravity vector.
