Abstract:

A digital recorder system is described which does not require a temperature or humidity controlled environment for proper operation. The recorder system is battery powered and requires no external power source. The recording media is unique in that non-volatile solid state components are used. The device characteristics can be easily changed by replacing a control or personality module which tailors the recorder for a particular input transducer type. Author
