Abstract:

This volume presents the results of the Manpack Study and Direct Acquisition Study performed under this contract. This report looks at the feasibility of directly acquiring the GPS Precision signal directly without the aid of the Clear signal. This report also addresses the design criteria and specification of a man-portable, or manpack GPS receiver.
