Abstract:

The purpose of this report is to provide the results of a survey for archeological, architectural, and historic resources at Mile 2.81, Ditch Number 39, Stoddard County, Missouri. The area surveyed is a proposed bridge construction site on the Castor River. The survey consisted of a literature and background search, records review and a field investigation of the direct impact zone of the project area in an effort to assess the nature, extent and significance of the archeological observations and historical resources and to determine the potential impacts of project installation on those resources.
