Abstract:

Cermet specimens will be used at room temperature for determining strength in flexure, modulus of elasticity, and Poissons ratio. Portions of these specimens will be used for determinations of porosity and strength in compression. The design of cermet specimens for tensile testing will depend on the results of photoelastic studies.
