Abstract:

The purpose of this report is to consoidate readily available data on beach erosion at Edisto Beach and to make a preliminary evaluation of these data to determine whether further study is warranted. Also discussed are the various remedial measures considered in resolution of the problem of arresting erosion and stabilizing the beach at the study area. A more thorough analysis will be made of each measure in the detailed report.
