Abstract:

This report covers three general phases of nitroguanidine 1 Manufacture 2 Use in propellants and 3 Use as a high explosive. The information on manufacture was obtained mainly from Dr. Walter Schnurr of Dynamit A.G. on nitroguanadine propellants from Dr. Schnurr and others and on high explosives loads from Dr. Morhardt of CPVA at Danisch-Nienhof.
