Abstract:

It is the mission of the Operational Test and Evaluation Force OPTEVFOR to ensure that all systems are as effective, suitable, and survivable as possible and convey their capabilities and limitations to the warfighter. In this regard, the test and evaluation TE community has the unique opportunity to provide advice, guidance, and the wisdom gained from our exposure to the TE of hundreds of systems providing warfighting capability over the past 60 years and the lessons learned from their successes and failures.
