Aedes (Stegomyia) Corneti, A New Species of the Africanus Subgroup (Diptera: Culicidae)

Abstract:

Adults of both sexes and the larva and pupa of Aedes Stegomyia corneti n. sp. from Sierra Leone are described and illustrated. Diagnostic characters for separating the adults of Ae. corneti from closely allied species are given. The distribution of Ae. corneti is based on examined specimens.
