Abstract:

Develop a commercially viable lightweight stud welding gun with auxiliary apparatus suitable for use in a shipbuilding environment to automatically feed insulation pins and weld them in all positions with the short cycle process using either appropriate existing powercontrol units or a newly designed specific purpose power supply.
