Statistical Methods for Analysis of NF Clinical Data

This project describes research in statistical methods that would be useful for statistical modelling and analysis of clinical data from NF1 and NF2 subjects. The statistical methods are classified into the areas a estimation of familial correlation for different types of data, b assessment of multi-hit mutation models for incidence of tumours. Some of the statistical methods to be developed are either new or partly new and require further research for computer software implementation. One goal of the project is to produce a software package for familial data analysis for different types of data such as binary, count, censored survival data.
