RDEC Federation Implementation of Objective Force Battlespace (OFB) Architecture

Abstract:

The Army Materiel Command AMC Research, Development, and Engineering Center RDEC Federation, combined with the Joint Virtual Battlespace JVB and Mounted Maneuver Battle Lab MMBL simulation architectures, comprises the real-time simulation architecture central to the Objective Force Battlespace OFB framework. This document describes the RDEC Federation architectural approach, interfaces, synthetic natural environment, and key architecture components, as they relate to OFB experimentation and analysis.
