Abstract:

The Vital Signs, Inc., Models Vital Blue Adult Code Blue Adult, Pedi Blue Child, and Baby Blue Infant Manual Resuscitators are hand held lightweight, manual resuscitators. The units provide clinicians a way to maintain ventilatory support for patients with life-threatening airway disorders. The units operate by manually squeezing the plastic reservoir bag to create a positive airflow to expand the patients lungs.
