Abstract:

The Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR establishes guidance for Executive agency procurement and contract administration missions. Contract and grant closeout is a function of contract administration. This report presents the results of audits conducted by the Inspectors General in the Departments of Defense DoD, Commerce Doc, Education DOED, and State DoS and the Federal Emergency Management Agency FEMA. The results of the General Accounting Office GAO audit of the Agency for International Development AID are also included.
