Abstract:

This report is the first phase of a three-phase program sponsored by the Federal Aviation Administration to develop a supplemental inspection document for Fairchild SA226 and SA227 aircraft. In this report, the mission profiles for the aircraft are established. The principal structural elements are defined, and the operating stresses are established.
