A Comprehensive Repository of Normal and Tumor Human Breast Tissue and Cells

Abstract:

We have successfully established a breast tissue repository which contains over 250 indivudual breast specimens. We have cryopreserved and cultured cells from human breast tumor. tissues and have established 21 new human breast tumor cell lines. The repository also includes breast epithelial and stromal cell strains derived from non cancerous breast tissue as well as peripheral blood mononuclear cells.
