Abstract:

The purpose of the informal test, reported in this QSTR, was to analyze Texas Instruments interpretation and use of the CALS standards, in transferring technical IGES data. Texas Instruments used its CALS Technical Data Interchange System to produce data, in accordance with the standards, and delivered it to the AFCTN technical staff using an electronic transfer to the AFCTB internet node.
