Abstract:

The purpose of the informal test, reported in this QSTR, was to analyze General Dynamics, Land Systems Divisions interpretation and use of the CALS standards in transferring technical publications data. General Dynamics used its CALS Technical Data Interchange System to produce data, in accordance with the standards, and delivered it to the AFCTN technical staff on a 9-track magnetic tape.
