Abstract:

This report contains the results of Phase 1, Phase 2, and Phase 3 archaeological investigation for a portion of the Cross Creek Flood Control Project Rossville, Kansas. The Phase 2 survey located one small archaeological site 14SH112. The site consisted of a light scatter of late-nineteenth to early-twentieth century artifacts. The site is interpreted as a dumpdiscard location and is not considered eligible for the National Register of Historic Places NRHP.
