Electrochemical Interfaces and Electrode Processes: Electrochemical Oxidation of Small Organisms
Abstract:
This report summarizes research involving mechanistic studies of the oxidation of small hydrocarbons and carbon monoxide on platinum in aqueous electrolytes, transition metal oxides as electrocatalysts for O2 reduction and as supports for dispersed platinum, and transition metal complexes exhibiting high catalytic activity for O2 reduction on graphite. This research has been pursued principally by graduate students, using the research for the Ph.D. dissertation.
