Abstract:

This Test and Evaluation Master Plan TEMP is for the Operational And Supportability Implementation System OASIS and describes the Test and Evaluation TE processes that ensure the system meets the requirements allocated to the project in the NAS-SS-1000, volumes 1 and 2, and the NAS-SR-1000. The document defines test strategy, test requirements, and organizational roles and responsibilities. The purpose of the plan is to define the overall TE phases necessary to ensure the integration of the OASIS within the environment of the National Airspace System NAS. The OASIS will replace the Model 1 Full Capacity M1FC work station position equipment, located at the 61 Automated Flight Service Stations AFSS and provide a planned capability for new Flight Service Automation System FSAS AFSS state-of-the-art work station equipment which can be logistically supported. The hardware and software will mainly be comprised of commercial-off-the-shelf COTS andor nondevelopmental item NDI acquisitions. The capability will include functionality to store, retrieve, display, highlight, zoom, and transfer information applying to any set of weather conditions, route of flight, or aircraft type. Weather and flight route information will be displayed simultaneously. The specialist will review visual notification of flight route problems including severe weather, and other safety concerns.
