ABEL: Analytische Bepaling van de Effectiviteit van Artillerievuur (Analytical Determination of the Effectiveness of Layers of Artillery Fire).

A change in acting of the field artillery has led to a thorough investigation on the effectiveness of battery fire and to its determining parameters. Besides, there was a wish to determine the effectiveness under operating conditions. An analytical model has been made, which is capable of a rapid calculation of the effectiveness, taken full account of the disturbances on the fire. This model has been used for a parameter study, where the change in parameters is taken relative to a reference fire.
