Predicting Leadership Potential through Psychological Testing
Abstract:
This study investigates the potential for using psychological measures of intellectual ability to assist in executive leader selections. First, the behaviors required for the executive level leader are established by examining Army doctrinal publications and cases in current academic literature. Next, case studies from industry are examined to determine whether procedures used in industry have applicability to the Army. Those procedures which are applicable are offered as possible additions to the human resource program of the Army.
