Abstract:

This statement assesses the potential environmental impacts from the realignment of Cannon Air Force Base, located in Curry County, 7 miles west of the town of Clovis, located in Curry County, 7 miles west of the town of Clovis, New Mexico, and associated airspace activities in northeastern New Mexico. The realignment would significantly increase airspace activity at the Base and surrounding operational airspace regions. The impacts resulting from the realignment are due to population and noise increases.
