Underway Replenishment Investigation for Selected Surface Ships

Abstract:

This report applies Underway Replenishment criteria to a representative fleet of 16 Naval ships. Underway Replenishment of three types are examined, Connected Replenishment, Fueling Along Side, and Vertical Replenishment. The percent time operabilities for each ship and mission are presented. The limiting response by ship and mission was also found.
