Abstract:

Design and construction has began for the NBS-NRL Free Electron Laser FEL Facility, which will be based on the NBS-LANL continuous wave Racetrack Microtron RTM accelerator. The conceptual design of the facility is now complete, the RTM is nearing completion, and final negotiations with a wiggler contractor are underway.
