A Survey Comparing the M2/3 Bradley Fighting Vehicle and the M113 Armored Personnel Carrier by Members of the NTC (National Training Center) Operations Group and OPFOR (Opposing Force)

Abstract:

A questionnaire was given to the National Training Center NTC observerControllers OC and Opposing Force OPFOR to obtain their observations and opinions on the effectiveness of the M23 Bradley Fighting Vehicle in comparison to the M113 Armored Personnel Carrier. Results indicate respondents strongly favored the M23 when compared to M113, and regarded the capability of the M23 as being essential to success on major battlefield tasks.
