Abstract:

This is the final report for the Nebula Support Software contract. It provides a Unix-based capability on the VAX-11780 which supported the development of software targeted for execution on the Nebula computer operating under the control of a native Unix system. This effort consisted of two tasks - the first was the retarget of the System V c-compiler and c-library to the Nebula Instruction Set Architecture ISA, and the second was the port of the System V kernel to the Nebula Brassboard System developed by CDC. The code generated by the retargeted c-compiler will be run on the Nebula simulator and on the RADC Brassboard implementation of the Nebula ISA.
