Abstract:

The Information Support System is a test computing environment used to investigate and demonstrate and test the concepts of information Management and information integration in the contexts of Aerospace Manufacturing. Specifically, IIS addresses the problems of integration of data resident on heterogeneous databases supported by heterogenous computers, interconnected via a Local Are a Network. A common Data Model is maintained and provides the mechanism required to integrate the data. Actual test results received from following procedures listed in the System Test Plan are recorded in this document. Test description, input, expected results, and actual results are the four sections of each test report.
