Abstract:

This report provides an overview of the Naval Surface Weapons Centers segment of the GEOSAT satellite project specifically, it documents the radar altimeter data analysis and reduction system. Through the data channels described, radar alyimeter measurements collected aboard GEOSAT are converted into best-estimated along-track heights and vertical deflections.
