Abstract:

The overall theme of Biotechnica 86 was Biotechnology products-markets-fields of application . This report summarizes some of the scientific sessions, specifically those concerned with new biotechnology in medium and genetic engineering processes, especially in the medical area for the development of natural compounds for use in chemical treatment.
