Convergence of Cubic Spline Interpolation with the Not-A-Knot Condition.

Abstract:

It is shown that cubic spline interpolation with the not-a-knot side condition converges to any C squared without any mesh-ratio restriction as the mesh size goes to zero. Keywords Cubic spline Interpolation Not-a-knot Convergence Total positivity.
