Repair levels analysis RLA is the general process of determining whether components of weapons systems or other systems should be repaired or scrapped and, if repaired, where repaired. This users guide describes a model for determining repair level decisions by considering life cycle maintenance related costs. The model formulates the repair level decision problem as a network analysis problem. This approach was chosen because it explicitly considers the indenture level relationships between items Line Replaceable Units LRUs and Shop Replaceable Units SRUs, and considers support equipment as a resource shared by a group of items. Although the decision problem is formulated as a cost network it is not necessary for the user to construct the network or manually solve it.
